My Journey to Pilates

My relationship with Pilates began during my corporate years as a finance professional. Struggling with chronic back pain and the stress of corporate life, I discovered that my physical training had missed something essentialβ€”movement based fitness.

After experiencing the transformative effects of Pilates on both my body and mind, I became passionate about sharing this practice with others. What started as a personal healing journey evolved into a calling to help others discover the profound benefits of mindful movement.

Beyond the Studio

When I'm not teaching Pilates, you'll find me exploring the great outdoors, experimenting with healthy recipes in my kitchen, or soaking up moment with friends and family. I believe that wellness extends far beyond the studioβ€”it's about nurturing your whole self, mind, body, and spirit.

My own wellness practice includes hiking whenever I can get outside, and I also dabble in yoga, meditation, and breathwork classes with other instructors. This keeps me fresh, inspired, and constantly learning, which I love to share in my classes too.

I also love reading about fitness and nutrition as accessible to everyone, which fuels my work with students who might otherwise find movement intimidating or overwhelming.

Values I live by: Movement as medicine, community over competition, and finding joy in the journey rather than obsessing over destinations.
